What to Expect on the big day!

A Desciption of what to exptect:
...
Assuming everything is in place and Mother Nature is Cooperating:
...
- You and your instructor will fly at least "a few" trips around the traffic pattern together to make sure you are having a "good" day.
...
(It does happen, that even when all signs are pointing to good day for a solo, maybe you didn't get a great night sleep? or some other stressor in life is affecting your flying.)

Assuming BOTH your Instructor AND YOU are ready, here are some last-minutes reminders:
...

ALWAYS FLY THE PLANE
...
do not allow distractions to affect your flying
...

Be ready for the plane to jump off the runway without the weight for your instructor.
...

Be ready for the plane to need a lower power setting than expected in order to descend.
...

Full stop taxi backs are usually preferred, but not always the best option for every runway.
...
If doing full stops, only one run-up is needed, but use the Hold Short Checklist each time.
...

If Touch and Goes are the best option for the runway in use:
...
2 Touch and Goes, and a then full stop landing
...
Before adding powere, remember to Reconfigure the airplane (carb heat, flaps up, etc.)
...

Stabilized Approach - If not, a Go Around is always an option
...

Have a Plan in case KISP closes
...
(circle in practice area if sufficient fuel, KHWV, KFOK, etc.)
...

Taxi slowly - it is all PIC - use all checklists -
...
No Cell Phones - or Selfies
