Flying Lesson |
More than
just a "Discovery Flight!" - This is a
real first-time flying lesson!
YES,
YOU WILL FLY THE PLANE! |
A real flying lesson should always allow time for
proper pre-flight and post-flight briefings. You
should plan to be with us for about two hours when
you come out for this flying lesson. Of that time,
you will spend up to 1 hour & 15 minutes in
the plane!
When you arrive at the airport, we take you straight
to the plane and start with a pre-flight inspection
of the aircraft. This pre-flight lesson will also
cover some aerodynamics of the flight maneuvers
you will be working on while up in the air.
After we get up in the air, your instructor will
demonstrate each of the four basic flight maneuvers
- straight & level flight, climbs, turns,
and descents - then it will be your turn to try!
We actually encourage you to be on the controls
and flying as much as you would like!
After your flight, your instructor will be available
for a post-flight briefing to talk about how you
did, and answer any questions you may have about
learning to fly.

Just like our one-time Extended
Introductory Lesson, these are both real flying
lessons, and you will be flying the first time
you come out to the airport!
You should plan on spending two hours with us
each lesson. After both your lessons are completed,
you will have over 2 hours of flight time in your
logbook that will count towards your Private Pilot
Certification requirements.
When you buy this multi-lesson package, the following
books are included to get you started off as a
student pilot:
